Hi, hola, my name is Stacey Miller. This will be my 16th year as an elementary school counselor and I am thrilled to be at Buford Elementary. Even though I am originally from Wisconsin, I have spent over 19 years in Georgia and consider this home. I am a triple dawg (Go Dawgs) I graduated in 2006 with BS in Psychology and minor in Sociology, 2006 MS in School Counseling and certificate in Marriage and Family, and EdS in School Counseling in 2008. In 2016 I received my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I love what I do so I am always learning and signing up for committees. I was very honored to earn the national RAMP award twice and in 2015 was named GA School Counselor of the Year. I have been married for 16 years and I have 2 kids Trinity (9) and Aaron (6) who are both Buford Wolves. I believe that Kindergarten is where we set a solid foundation for school and social-emotional skills. I can't wait to get to know your kids and I am here to work in partnership to help them be their very best selves. |
