Hi! I’m Ms. Jackie Berenguer, and I’m thrilled to be joining Buford City Schools this year as a Pre-K special education teacher. Though this is my first year with the district, I bring a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to helping every student grow and thrive. I was born and raised in Southern California and earned my degree in elementary education from California State University, Long Beach.
I now call Buford home, where I live with my two wonderful kids— Shay (4th grade) and Henry (2nd grade). Outside of school, you can usually find us at karate practice or the local ninja warrior gym. We also share our home with two cats, Gigi and Ash.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring new restaurants and catching live country music whenever I can. I also love traveling to visit family on both coasts.
I’m excited to be part of the Buford family and can’t wait to welcome your children into our classroom—our home away from home! Go Wolves!

[email protected] My name is Ginna Junca, and I am thrilled to be joining the Buford Elementary family as a Pre-K Special Education teacher. I am excited to embark on this journey with you and your children, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, I am a mother of two neurodiverse and gifted young adults. My daughter Alejandra is a Senior at Georgia State University, and my son Mateo is a full time athlete. I am also a fur mom to Labradoodle, Cairo. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy traveling, dancing, teaching Spanish, mentoring families, hiking, and visiting local restaurants and coffee shops. I have had the privilege of working with young learners for the past 10 years, focusing primarily on Pre-K students. I am passionate about witnessing their growth towards becoming as independent as possible, developing their own personalities, making friends, and learning all the academics. Together, we will celebrate milestones, overcome challenges, and create a love for learning that will last a lifetime. Thank you for entrusting me with your child’s education. I am looking forward to a fantastic year of growth, discovery, and fun in Pre-K at the BEST elementary school in GA, Buford Elementary School. Go WOLVES!

Hi! My name is Courtney Haney and I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher this year. I am beginning my 15th year in education and my 1st year at BES! I feel so grateful to continue doing what I love every day! I am certified in Special Education and absolutely love working with younger students. Early childhood is such a magical time of learning, and I strive to create a classroom that is safe, nurturing, inclusive, and fun. My goal is to help every child grow socially, emotionally, and academically- at their own pace and in their own way. I believe in collaborating closely with families to build strong foundations for lifelong learning. I’m always here to support both students and families. While not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, which consists of my husband, Clint, and our 6th grade son, Parker, who attends Buford Middle School. We enjoy all things sports and love to travel! I’m looking forward to a wonderful year filled with laughter, learning, and lots of growth!
